Sports Authority of India's Scholarship
STATE LEVEL SCHOLARSHIPS
i) There is a quota for award of State level sports scholarships which is 150 per State and 100 per Union Territory. ii) The value of each scholarship will be Rs.6600/- per annum (12 months) i.e. Rs.550/-
per month. iii) The applicant should be a regular bonafide student of government/government recognized school/college up to 10+2 class. iv) All the members of winner and runners-up teams and
first/second or third position holders in individual events in the above State Championships will be eligible. Besides individual sports persons exhibiting outstanding performance, participating in the said
championships, whose team could not reach the finals, may also be considered for award of scholarships based on specific recommendation of association/body organizing the tournament.
NATIONAL LEVEL SCHOLARSHIPS
i) All eligible sports persons under this category will be considered for the award of scholarships. ii) The value of each National level scholarship will be Rs.8400/- per annum (12 months) i.e. Rs. 700/-
per month. iii) The applicant should be regular bonafide student of government/government recognized school/college up to 10+2 class.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
i) All eligible sports person under this category will be considered for the award of scholarship. ii) The value of this scholarship will be Rs.10,200/- per annum (12 months) i.e. Rs.850/- per month.
iii) The applicant should be regular bonafide student of a recognized college/university studying in classes above 10+2. iv) In case of individual events, students attaining first, second or third position in
the National Level competitions organized by National Sports Federations and All India Inter-University competitions organized by Association of Indian Universities, will be eligible.
SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN
SCHOLARSHIPS TO WOMEN NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
i) 50 scholarships are available for women Sports persons under this category. ii) The value of each scholarship is Rs.18,000/- per annum (12 months) i.e. Rs.1500/- per month.
iii) Women securing first, second or third position only in individual events in recognized senior Nationals conducted by National Sports Federations as per International rules or National Federation rules
will be eligible.
The form should then be forwarded through proper channel to The Executive Director (A), SAI Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Moti Bagh, Patiala-147001(Pb.). The last date for receipt of
applications in this office duly completed in all respects is 30.09.20XX

Indian Oil Sports Scholarship
There will be two categories of scholarship : 'Elite Scholar' and 'Scholar'. Elite Scholar : Representing the country in team games or national ranking in individual games between 1-5 Junior or Sub-Junior
and quarter-finalist of national championship in individual games. Scholar : Representing the state team in team games or national ranking in individual games between 6 to 10 Junior or Sub-Junior and
quarter-finalist of national championship in individual games. Scholarship will be given to upcoming cadet, sub-junior and junior players up to the age of 19 years.
The application will be routed through and recommended by Appropriate Authority / Institution (such as Head / Principal of Institution / School) along with certified copy of standing of sports scholar in
appropriate National / State level issued by concerned Sports Authority.
All sports scholarships will be for a period of three years and will be discontinued during the tenure, in case the performance of the player is not found satisfactory.
The sports scholars will have to submit their performance report immediately after the completion of a tournament with necessary press clipping through the Head of Institution / Principal or from their
National / State Association.
The Sports person will be required to send their resume along with passport size photograph as per the format given in the Website and also the family details. The sports person will also be required to
attach with the applications the photo copies of the press cuttings and the certificates, duly authenticated by their respective State Association or the Principal of their school / college. The last date for
